In order to understand the characteristics and influencing factors of O3 (ozone) pollution in the urban area of Fuxin city, the continuous monitoring data of air quality and meteorological parameters in the urban area of Fuxin city from January 1 2020 to October 27 2020 were collected. The characteristics of monthly and daily O3 concentrations in the urban area of Furin city during the monitoring period were analyzed. The influence of temperature, humidity, wind speed and wind direction on O3 pollution were explored. The results show that when the air temperature >30 ℃, relative humidity was 40%~45%, wind speed was level 3~4, and the prevailing winds were northeasterly and southwesterly winds, the number of the exceedance days caused by O3 accounts for 66.6% of the total number of the exceedance days during the monitoring period. The temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction significantly affect the O3 pollution levels. Meteorological conditions of the exceedance days can be used as a predictor of O3 pollution in Fuxin city.
